I plan to use Sony audio equipment in my truck, why you ask? Cause I
like the red theme and it will fit in with the color of my truck. Also I
think they make pretty good products. I already have the CD head unit, I
plan on having two sets of component speakers, one set in the kick
panels, and another behind the seats. The two amps will be mounted under
the seats, one a mono sub amp and the other a 4-channel unit. A custom
speaker enclosure will hold the woofers, which will most likely be
either 8" or 10" and anywhere from three to four woofers. If I add a CD
changer, it will probably be mounted in the glove box. |

Electrical wiring will come from Painless Wiring or
maybe someone else, not sure yet. I'll definitely get a large 18 circuit
unit that will allow me options in the future. Main requirements here
are a well laid out system, wires that are color coded and labeled, and
good instructions. I've seen so many wiring nightmares, I want to take
my time and do it right. |
