Here's the starting point for the engine. The original 327 V8 that came with the truck and I had rebuilt was no longer what I wanted in the truck anymore. So that engine was put into my '78 Chevy Malibu and the 350 that was pulled out of it will be the engine to power my truck (after it's been gone through and rebuilt). The good thing about this engine is that it's still standard and has only ever had a ring job. It started out in a 1970 Monte Carlo and was taken out to make room for a big block. Then it was put into a Malibu that my uncle eventually purchased. That car ultimately was totaled and another Malibu was purchased the V6 removed and this engine installed. Now it's new home will be my truck
