Well, the 327 I had originally built
to go in the truck wasn't quite what I wanted anymore. So it's been marked
to replace the 350 in my '78 Malibu. The plan now is to build a new 350
blower motor for my truck. I'm looking at the Holley 250 Powercharger, it's
slightly shorter than a Megablower or Weiand 6-71. Hood clearance is an
issue as I want to run a Hilbourn style air scoop and don't want the blower
to stick through the hood. If the larger blowers would fit I might go that
route as they are not much more than the smaller one. |

Part 1: Bottom End Part 2: Heads
Part 3: Blower buildup |
Part 4: Ignition system Part 5: Transmission
Part 6: Accessories & Installation |
Important note here: I'm not
planning to build a high boost 700 Horsepower engine here. I like the look
of a blower, but want a reliable engine to boot. So compression will be low
and the blower will be under driven.
